Hi, I'm the face behind Tuff Web Designs.

I'm a 15-year-old high school student from Smithtown, NY, and I've been obsessed with web design since I first opened a code editor. I started Tuff Web Designs because I noticed something frustrating — so many great local businesses, restaurants, barbers, cleaners, contractors — were invisible online. Not because they weren't good at what they do, but because professional web design felt out of reach. Agencies charge thousands of dollars and take months. That's not realistic for a small business just trying to grow.

So I built something different. I design and build websites myself, which means lower overhead, faster turnaround, and a price that actually makes sense for small businesses. I'm not a massive agency with account managers and layers of red tape. You talk directly to me, we get it done, and your business gets online fast.

On top of running Tuff Web Designs, I'm studying business at my high school through a program called Virtual Enterprise International (VE). VE is a nationally recognized program where students actually run a simulated company end-to-end — we build out real departments (marketing, finance, HR, sales, and tech), develop products, and compete against student-run firms from across the country and around the world. I serve on the tech department for my school's VE firm, where I'm responsible for building and maintaining the company's website and digital tools. It's hands-on training in how a real business operates, and it's a huge part of why I think about every site I build the way an owner would — not just how it looks, but how it actually drives the business forward.
